In light of the cancellation of our meet tonight, we will be running a makeshift meet during practices on Wednesday morning in order to give swimmers a chance to practice racing and get updated times.

Please register participating swimmers by 11:00 pm on Tuesday, June 22. Here is the Swimtopia registration link.

Swimmers may only sign up for two events.

The meet will be during your swimmer's scheduled practice time (with 8 and unders starting 15 minutes early):

• 7:00 am - 13 to 18 year olds
• 8:00 am - 8 and unders
• 9:00 am - 9 to 12 year olds

Volunteers: If you are available to help out on Wednesday morning, please sign up to volunteer. We are only opening up one role as a timer. We will take as many of you as we can get and feel free to sign up for multiple sessions if you can stick around for more than one practice. The number of lanes we run will depend on how many timers we can get to help. If we have enough volunteers, we may place you into another equally easy role.

Logistics: Please have your swimmers at the pool ten minutes early if you can. We will do a short warmup but then jump right into racing so we have enough time. In order to run quickly, we will be grouping swimmers together across genders and age groups. As getting full volunteer support will be difficult, please do not expect that we will publish places or provide ribbons. This is mostly a chance for swimmers to get times under meet-like conditions and to practice racing.

The coaches really wanted to ensure that your swimmers got the opportunity to swim as it is always such a letdown to have to cancel a meet. Hopefully, we can make this work but please be patient with me and the coaches as we try to cobble this together.
